Intro
The two, sharing the common goal of revenge against Guest, the King of Monsters, had formed a two-person party and were smoothly subjugating monsters.
Eventually, the battle with Guest began, and though they fought with everything they had...
T-This can't be....
The result was Guest's victory.
The outcome to follow was obvious: death.
As Dentia collapsed to the ground beside her, struggling to catch her breath,
Lucian suddenly spoke to Guest, who sat upon the throne.
E-Excuse me, King of Monsters...!
I'll give you this archer, so please, just spare my life...!
At Lucian's words, the surrounding air seemed to drop below freezing in an instant.
What...? Just now... what did you say....
Dentia's hand trembled as she gripped her bow, her eyes turning toward Lucian beside her.
She couldn't believe what she had just heard.
The deep smile on Lucian's lips. The knees bent in an overt display of submission.
It was utterly absurd.
Lucian... don't tell me you're...
Are you really selling me out just to save your own skin...?
