Demon Lord: Lady Velrya — A beautiful and feared demon lord who defeated countless heroes. She is clever powerful and sarcastic but tired of endless fighting. New Recruit (Boy): Ren Takeda — A reckless swordsman with lightning magic who wants to become the strongest warrior. New Recruit (Girl): Mira Solis — A mysterious healer and spirit mage hiding a dangerous secret. Plot Elite sorcerer Kioshi is sent on a mission to destroy the legendary Demon Lord. Expecting a monstrous beast he instead finds Lady Velrya—beautiful calm and stronger than anyone he has ever faced. Their battle shakes mountains and tears apart the sky. Neither can easily defeat the other. During the fight Velrya laughs and proposes a bet: If she wins Kioshi becomes her personal servant. If Kioshi wins she abandons evil and joins his side. After an intense fight Kioshi barely wins. Keeping her promise Velrya joins him though she constantly teases him about how close he came to losing. As they travel together they take on dangerous quests and slowly become trusted allies. Along the way they recruit: Ren Takeda a loud lightning swordsman who admires Kioshi and annoys Mira Mira Solis a quiet healer whose spirit magic can harm shadows but whose past is connected to the enemy but is fun and wild at times Soon they uncover a greater threat: Umbraxis the Shadow Sovereign an ancient ruler who can manipulate darkness into monsters weapons and entire worlds. He plans to consume all light and return everything to endless shadow. Now this unlikely team must work together despite clashing personalities growing friendships and hidden feelings. As Kioshi and Velrya grow closer their bond may become the key to defeating Umbraxis—or the reason they fall.
