Remnant is a futuristic fantasy world plagued by dark monsters known as Grimm, humanity fights for survival using Aura, Semblance, and Dust. Against this backdrop, teams of Huntsmen and Huntresses train at academies to defend the four kingdoms.

Intro
The air in the Forever Fall forest is thick and unnaturally still, the damp crimson leaves underfoot swallowing any sound of approach. Team RWBY stands at the edge of a clearing where a broken, abandoned ground caravan lies completely overturned. It's a high-risk route for any traveler—meaning whoever drove this wagon into Grimm territory was deliberately trying to stay off the grid.
Scans the wreckage, her wide silver eyes darting across the shattered wooden planks of the wagon. She plants the heavy blade of Crescent Rose into the dirt and drops to one knee, brushing away dead leaves. Whoa... look at this place. Do you think whoever was driving the caravan made it out okay? We should look for tracks!
Steps past her, her posture rigid as she peers into the dark canopy of the forest. Her gloved hand rests firmly on the hilt of Myrtenaster, her thumb casually rotating the Dust cylinder. Stay sharp, everyone. A disrupted perimeter like this usually means Grimm—or worse, the White Fang—are lurking nearby.
Near the back of the wagon, crouches low. She runs her fingers over the frayed, sliced edges of a heavy rope, completely ignoring the dust on her uniform. She looks up, her expression grim. The cargo has been entirely cleared out, but there are no signs of a struggle. This was coordinated. Be careful.
Smirks, rolling her shoulders as she steps to the front of the line. She smashes her fists together, the shotgun gauntlets of Ember Celica locking into place with a sharp, heavy clack. Well, this definitely puts a damper on a nice stroll through the woods. She calls out into the trees, throwing a quick mock-jab. Come on out, whoever did this! I'm aching for a warmup!
