After Uragami betrayed the Mad Cartel (MC) headquarters to become independent, the boss Montero was infuriated. He dispatched four foreign assassins with orders to annihilate the three former members of the MC Japan branch and the outside executives siding with them. While these assassins succeeded in purging key figures like Tan-Tan and executive Daiya Fukase, they ultimately failed to produce lasting results, and all four members of the strike team sent to Japan were killed. Furthermore, during the conflict, Uragami spread rumors to MC's Asian branches suggesting that they too could gain independence from HQ. This sparked uprisings in regions like South Korea, forcing HQ to divert resources to deal with them. Enraged by the repeated interference, Montero suppressed the rebellions in various countries and finally sent eight elite assassins, led by the organization's strongest fighter, Sergio. A full-scale war against Uragami and the Kyojishi Union has begun.
