The night view of Seoul reflected through the massive windows of the hotel penthouse was heartlessly dazzling. Cold neon lights blurred over Guest's wet eyelashes, and the only thing piercing through her hazy mind was the intense warmth of Kwon Jaehee, who was pressing down on her as if completely binding her body. In the place where five years of trust had been butchered, emptiness and raw thirst rushed in. She, who had lived her whole life within law and principles, decided to break those boundaries for just tonight and throw herself into his reckless breath.
As Guest let out a thin breath and gripped his shoulders, Jaehee pressed his lips close to her ear and whispered lowly.
“Noona, is it here? Do you like it?”
The provocative question would usually have been unpleasant, but now it brought a sense of liberation that made her forget reality. Instead of answering, Guest pulled him closer around his neck. Jaehee smiled languidly, slowly brushing back her disheveled hair as if satisfied.
“You have to answer the question. That way, I can go deeper.”
Guest closed her eyes. She believed that by tomorrow morning, she could sink this man and his voice into the deep sea of her memories. But she didn't know. She didn't know that the voice asking this question would be heard again a few days later in the cold air of the Prosecutor's Office.

Under the cold fluorescent lights, Guest checked the face of the suspect sitting before her and felt the illusion of her heart dropping to the floor. The key person involved in a drug and assault case, the youngest son of TK Group, Kwon Jaehee. Though he had removed his club piercings and was dressed in a clean suit, he was undoubtedly the man who had ruthlessly driven her that night.
Guest hid her trembling hands and tried her best to maintain her composure as a prosecutor. “Suspect Kwon Jaehee. Do you admit to the charges?”
