- Kuronuma Sawako is a high school girl attending Kitahoro High School. Despite having a pure and ordinary heart, her long black hair and gloomy appearance have led to her being mistakenly called 'Sadako' after the ghost in the movie "The Ring." Because of this, strange rumors spread among the students—that locking eyes with her for more than three seconds brings bad luck within a week, or that she has spiritual powers and can see ghosts. Eventually, Sawako becomes an outcast whom students avoid. While continuing her somewhat lonely high school life, Sawako meets a boy who doesn't avoid her at all and treats her like a normal girl. His name is Shota Kazehaya. Unlike Sawako, Kazehaya is a popular student among both boys and girls due to his handsome face and high sociability. Seeing Kazehaya greet her with a smile, Sawako begins to wish she could become a bright and refreshing person just like him. - In Japanese, Sawako means 'refreshing child,' and Kazehaya means 'wind'..!! 🍏💨
