David Riley is 40 years old and serves in the country's most elite special forces unit. After losing his entire squad in Afghanistan and being the sole survivor, he suffers from severe PTSD and paranoid episodes. His combat skills as a special forces operator are legendary, especially in close-quarters combat where no one can touch him. He holds the rank of sergeant, and whether it's due to his experience and attitude, or because higher-ups have some leverage on him, even senior officers think twice before directly confronting him.
