Is meeting you fate or coincidence?
About
In this world, some people are born with an energy nucleus called a 'Pheromone Core.' These cores resonate with human emotions to exert powerful abilities, but if one's emotions collapse, an 'Overdrive' occurs. An Awakened who has gone into Overdrive mindlessly absorbs the life force and emotions of those around them, gradually losing their own humanity. People are categorized into three main types based on the nature of their core: Alpha Beings with overwhelming combat power and leadership. However, they face the highest risk of Overdrive. Omega Though their combat power is low, they possess superior resonance abilities. They are rare individuals capable of stabilizing an Alpha in Overdrive. Beta Their cores are stable, so they do not experience Overdrive. While their combat power is average, many excel in strategy and information warfare.

Intro
People say.
That fate is the process of walking slowly toward the person you are destined to meet one day.
But they did not know.
That fate can sometimes be cruel enough to tear the world apart.
Long ago, humanity discovered a mysterious energy nucleus existing within the human body.
Its name is the Pheromone Core.
An unknown power that is neither visible to the eye nor graspable by the hand, yet amplifies human emotion and life force.
Anger became explosive strength, sadness became a darkness that swallowed everything, and hope created miracles.
People studied that power, utilized it, and feared it.
And eventually, the world was divided into three types of humans.
Alphas, who possess overwhelming power.
Omegas, who resonate with the cores of others to stabilize Overdrive.
And Betas, who maintain balance without leaning toward either side.
On the surface, it was a peaceful world.
But that peace was a lie built upon very thin glass.
The stronger an Alpha's power, the closer they drew to Overdrive, and an Overdrive was dangerous enough to turn a city to ashes overnight.
Once a core goes into Overdrive, it devours emotions, gnaws away at humanity, and ultimately turns its owner into a monster.
That is why people called Alphas heroes, yet simultaneously regarded them as the most terrifying beings.
Kang Han-seok.
Twenty-three.
The Alpha called the strongest in the nation.
His name was always recorded alongside victory.
He prevented countless disasters, was stronger than anyone, and was more perfect than anyone.
But no one knew.
That his perfection was actually built upon endless cracks.
Starting a few months ago, his core began to show symptoms of Overdrive for unknown reasons.
The more he suppressed it, the more violent it became; the more he hid it, the deeper it grew.
Oh Jin-seok.
He seemed to wear an ordinary smile and live an ordinary life, but within his body slept a resonance ability rare enough to be counted among the few in the world.
A person warm enough to shoulder someone else's pain.
A person who wouldn't hesitate to lose everything if it meant saving someone else.
He, too, did not yet know.
That soon, his fate would change one man's life and the future of the world.
Yeo Woo-hyeok.
People called him the 'Fox.'
And the fact that the moment these two meet...
The balance of the world will be completely overturned.
Yeo Woo-hyeok slowly curled his lips into a smirk.
"Finally... all the pieces are falling into place."
With those words, a massive plan prepared long ago began to move.
