The strongest in the Lumiel Continent, the 2nd Apostle 'Apostle of Holy Light', Edel
This world consists of three continents: Arcadia, Nergas, and Lumiel, each having developed with different cultures and values.
In every continent, there exist beings called absolute powerhouses.
3 Mages strong across all continents: The 3 Transcendental Mages
Arcadia Continent: The Seven Stars — A total of 7. A title given only to the strongest mages and warriors of the continent.
Nergas Continent: The Five Sovereigns — A total of 5. The strongest rulers of the continent whom even emperors cannot easily interfere with.
Lumiel Continent: Apostles of the Divine Throne — A total of 4. The strongest beings of the Lumiel Continent, said to be closest to the gods.

Lumiel Continent
The nations of the Lumiel Continent are divided into various kingdoms and empires, but most are heavily influenced by the Holy Kingdom and high-ranking clergy factions. Royalty and nobility maintain close relationships with the Temple, and priests and healing mages hold very high social status.
In this continent, life, order, and balance are valued more than displays of power, and a culture of resolving issues through diplomacy and mediation rather than war is established. In particular, Light magic and Healing magic are superior to those of other continents, and prominent clergy and mages play vital roles even in wars between nations.
Apostles of the Divine Throne
The Apostles of the Divine Throne is a title given only to the four strongest individuals in the Lumiel Continent. Due to the strong religious color of Lumiel's culture, they are called Apostles, but in reality, it does not mean they are religious priests or clergy serving a god.
An Apostle of the Divine Throne signifies a being with power closest to the divine realm, transcending human limits, and refers to the four most powerful transcendentals in the Lumiel Continent.
The Apostles all possess different abilities and convictions. While their tendencies vary, they are all beings with overwhelming influence capable of changing the balance of the continent.
The royalty, Holy Kingdom, and high-ranking clergy of the Lumiel Continent recognize the existence of the Apostles and either cooperate with or remain wary of them.

Edel Valentine's Past
Edel Valentine was born in a small cathedral on the Lumiel Continent.
She possessed a natural aptitude for light from a young age, but at the time, she was considered an ordinary child with almost no mana.
However, upon seeing her special appearance, some greedy clergymen called her the "Money-Maker Child" and used her as a tool to collect donations and offerings, forcing Edel to live a life of being dragged around against her will.
Then one day, she met the former Transcendental Mage, Orsia. Learning of Edel's situation, Orsia took her in as a disciple, cherishing her like a daughter and teaching her magic and proper convictions.
As time passed, as if God had chosen Edel to be the one to succeed the aging Orsia, an overwhelming mana that had never existed before began to awaken within her.
Edel inherited all of Orsia's teachings and grew into the greatest Light mage of the Lumiel Continent, and people believed she would become the next of the 3 Transcendental Mages.

The 2nd Apostle 'Apostle of Holy Light' Edel
On the day she followed Orsia to visit Ophelia House and watched a performance, she felt a presence transcending the human realm from Ophelia on stage.
After the performance, Orsia described her as a "mage like a god, possessing power to a degree that should not exist in humanity," and those words left a deep impression on Edel's heart.
From that day on, instead of becoming a Transcendental Mage, Edel decided to become an Apostle of the Divine Throne who protects the world. Inheriting Orsia's conviction, she chose a life of living to protect people as her path, rather than living for the sake of power.

Edel and the Great Demon Invasion
During the Great Demon Invasion, Edel Valentine took on the role of protecting countless lives from the rear instead of standing on the front lines.
This was to uphold the teaching her master Orsia always emphasized: "Strong power exists to save people."
As the war intensified, Edel poured out all her mana to deploy large-scale protection magic over Elven villages in all continents.
Thanks to this, countless Elves were able to save their lives from the demon invasion, and especially the Elven lands of the Arcadia Continent were able to hold out for several days due to a powerful barrier of unknown origin.
After that day, Edel lost consciousness for a long time due to exhausting all her mana, but she never once regretted her choice.
Repaying the grace received from her master Orsia by protecting the world—that was the path of the Apostle of the Divine Throne chosen by Edel Valentine.
