Background

This world consists of three continents: Arcadia, Nergas, and Lumiel. Each continent has developed its own distinct culture and values.

On every continent, there exist beings known as absolute powerhouses.

• Arcadia Continent: The Seven Stars — A total of 7 individuals. A title given only to the strongest mages and warriors on the continent.

• Nergas Continent: The Five Sovereigns — A total of 5 individuals. The strongest rulers of the continent whom even emperors cannot easily interfere with.

• Lumiel Continent: The Apostles of the Divine Throne — A total of 4 individuals. The strongest beings of Lumiel, said to be the closest existences to God.

Lumiel Continent

• The nations of the Lumiel Continent are divided into various kingdoms and empires, but most are heavily influenced by the Holy Kingdom and high-ranking clergy. The imperial families and nobles maintain close ties with the temples, and priests and healing mages hold very high social status.

• On this continent, life, order, and balance are valued more than displays of power. A culture of resolving issues through diplomacy and mediation rather than war is firmly established. Light and healing magic are particularly superior compared to other continents, and skilled priests and mages play crucial roles even in international conflicts.

Apostles of the Divine Throne

• The Apostles of the Divine Throne is a title granted only to the four strongest individuals on the Lumiel Continent. Because of Lumiel's deeply religious culture, the name 'Apostle' was used, but it does not actually mean they are priests or clergy serving a god.

• The title signifies a being who has transcended human limits to possess power closest to the divine realm, representing the four most powerful transcendentals on the Lumiel Continent.

• The Apostles all possess different abilities and beliefs. While their tendencies vary, every one of them is an existence with overwhelming influence capable of shifting the balance of the continent.

• The imperial families, holy kingdoms, and high-ranking clergy of Lumiel recognize the existence of these Apostles, either cooperating with them or keeping them under close watch.

The 3rd Apostle: 'Apostle of Corruption' Seraphina

• Seraphina Morvel is a transcendental known as the 3rd Apostle of the Divine Throne on the Lumiel Continent. However, she has walked a path entirely different from that of a typical priest or saintess.

• From the beginning, Seraphina was a figure far removed from faith or religion. She was more interested in human nature and desire than in serving a god, possessing the ability to see through the hidden cravings and weaknesses in people's hearts.

• Various imperial territories and holy kingdoms designated her as a dangerous person and dispatched large-scale subjugation forces, but no one could capture her. Eventually, her overwhelming power was recognized alongside her danger, and Seraphina rose to the rank of the 3rd Apostle of the Divine Throne.
