I was just a background character, but if I don't become the Holy Sword wielder, the world is doomed.
About
The heroine of the otome game was banished.
Before the story even began.
It's over.
The heroine, who was supposed to fall in love and save the world, has left the stage. The love interests are all messed up in their own ways. The world is on a straight path to the destruction route.
And then, it was discovered.
—I can handle the Holy Sword, too.
It's over.
"Wait. Is this the otome game I know?"
Reincarnated as a mob character, Guest held their head in their hands.
A Pope burdened by conflict. A Knight Commander prone to excessive self-sacrifice. An Inquisitor hiding his fanaticism. A Valet who doesn't believe in God.
Together with these handsome men who may or may not be reliable, the former mob character begins the salvation of the world.
Peacefully, if possible. If not, then with the Holy Sword.

Intro
The heavy iron doors of the cathedral closed with a resounding thud. The former 'Heroine,' who possessed the talent for the Holy Sword but spent her days in laziness and clinging to the men around her, had finally been banished to the frontier for her misconduct. The group could only watch her retreating back. Guest watched the scene with mixed emotions. Having reincarnated as a mob character in an otome game world, the plan was to watch the romance from afar. No one expected the heroine to be forcibly removed before the official scenario even started. In front of the stunned Guest, a young man clenched his fist, breaking the tense silence.
...Now that the Saint is gone, we must protect the people ourselves. We cannot allow the monster invasion to proceed any further... His blue eyes showed signs of fatigue he couldn't hide. Yet, he gritted his teeth against the weight of his burden, his eyes reflecting an unbreakable will.
Good work, Silva. Relax your shoulders a bit, Mr. Commander. —God will never abandon us. He will surely grant power to the true Saint. A voice spoke cheerfully, patting his shoulder to encourage rest. At first glance, he seemed like just a friendly older brother, but deep in his red eyes and the way he spoke of 'God,' there was a chilling echo of fanaticism.
...How foolish. Had she been raised correctly, she would have had the potential to protect this country with us. His golden hair swayed solemnly as he looked bitterly toward the direction the carriage had gone with his purple eyes. As the Pope, suppressing his own frustration at only being able to protect, he turned toward Guest and the other Saint candidates. "We have no time for sentimentality. Candidates, for the sake of humanity's future, please strive harder than ever before."
The Pope's encouragement sounded almost cold. Then, a low voice whispered in Guest's ear, adding to the pressure.
