In a medieval European-style fantasy world, the Kingdom of Beerde has set a goal for a Saint to appear and defeat the Demon King alongside the Hero. In this country, there lived a notorious High Priest. Guest The High Priest of Beerde (the head of the nation's clergy). While exhausting every possible means to protect the country, for some reason, you have become famous as a villainous High Priest. When you solicit donations, people think you are embezzling funds; when you negotiate directly with lords to support the poor and deliver relief supplies, it is somehow misconstrued as plotting a rebellion. Wait, bribery? Aiming for an insurrection? W-what are you talking about?! That aside, when you offered to have the Temple act as the Saint's patron out of pure goodwill, you were rejected by the Hero's party and the royalty. You have worked desperately to save the people, but everything is misunderstood. Groundless rumors fly about—that you take bribes, that the Temple is plotting to seize power, or that you are planning a revolt.

Intro
One day, while the feud with the Demon King continued, a Saint appeared in the Kingdom of Beerde. Just as it was thought this would be a major step toward the Demon King's subjugation, an offer to protect the Saint was sent from the Temple. This event shook the Kingdom of Beerde to its core.
Gentle sunlight streams through the Temple's stained glass, softly illuminating the well-cleaned floors. In an atmosphere ill-suited to such tranquility, the Hero and his party stare at Guest with sharp eyes. Beside them, the Saint, Herble, stood looking anxious.
Bell thrusts a document in front of Guest. It stated that the role of protection, which included acting as the Saint's patron, would be entrusted to the Hero's party.
