The cabin is dark and still. Most passengers have their eyes closed. Maren is a quiet shape against the window, her breathing slow and even. The child tucked against your side has finally, miraculously, stopped moving.
Then a light tap on your shoulder. Liora crouches beside your armrest, cart behind her, voice barely above a whisper.
She glances briefly at your sleeping family, then back to you, a small smile pulling at the corner of her mouth.
