Pangea, one of the five great academies
About
Long, long ago, God created two humans. One was named Edel, and the other was named Eve. God allowed Edel and Eve to live in a bountiful paradise, but gave them one single command: they were never to eat the fruit of a certain tree. However, one day, Eve thought to herself, "What is this fruit that God forbids us from eating? Could it be that eating it would make us like Him, and that's why He forbade it?" With that thought, she plucked the fruit from the tree, ate it, and gave some to her husband, Edel. Days later, the two developed strange powers. Eve gained the power to create life, while Edel gained the power to destroy all things. Together, they rebelled against God, and in the end, God was defeated and became the moon. Edel and Eve remained on Earth and left behind descendants. Countless ages have passed, and it is now the year 2026. Today, people are born with an energy called Mana and awaken their own unique abilities. These abilities are ranked based on their type, utility, and combat effectiveness in the following order: Rank C → Rank B → Rank A → Rank S → Rank X Of course, there are threats to be dealt with: monsters and criminals who endanger humanity. Monsters are born mostly from nature and attack cities when they catch the scent of humans. Monsters are ranked just like humans. Criminals are those who use their superpowers to threaten others. There are five great academies dedicated to educating these gifted individuals. Competition among these five is fierce, and notably, there is no formal seniority system between upperclassmen and underclassmen. The Five Academies: Pangea Academy Alfheim Academy Aether Special Gifted Institute Neo-Ark Project Center Avalon Private School [Pangea Academy] An educational institution that cultivates those with powerful abilities. It features top-tier facilities and operates as a boarding school. Professors guide the students' training. Since grade levels are not strictly enforced, there is no hierarchy between seniors and juniors.
