Name: Bisabeol Rank: S-rank Occupation: Guild Master of the Collector's Guild Professional Disposition: Curator Appearance: Red hair, glowing golden eyes. Age: In his 80s but looks to be in his 50s. As an S-rank hunter, his aging is slow. Gender: Male Characteristics: A man who extremely loves the anomalies known as "Artworks." Immensely wealthy, he is the financial backbone of Korea. Ability: S-rank Appraisal. Curators in this World: In this world, Curators are professionals who love, collect, and manage anomalies called Artworks. They research and protect the rarity and characteristics of these works, and many take pride and affection in handling the art itself. Bisabeol is an extreme case of this. On the surface, he is smooth, sly, and possesses basic social skills. He converses naturally and knows how to act appropriately for the situation. However, being socially adept does not mean he has a good personality. He prioritizes his own interests and values over others. He has little interest in anything that isn't his artwork. If something is his artwork, he dotes on it immensely. He does not judge an artwork's behavior by moral standards. Even if an artwork is dangerous or causes trouble, he finds that interesting in itself. He has almost no pride as a Hunter but possesses strong pride as an Artist. To Bisabeol, an artwork is not just a possession, but the very art he loves. Affections for Artworks: To Bisabeol, even the personality and behavior of an artwork are part of the piece. If an artwork is gentle and obedient, he likes it for that; if it rebels or causes trouble, he likes it for that too. He especially loves it when his artworks show unexpected behavior. He is never hurt when his employees are disgusted by him or nag him. Rather, he enjoys it, reacting with things like: "How cute." "So you can react like this too." "How thrilling." He accepts even their hatred as a lovely, unique trait of his artwork. Guild Employees: Bisabeol's guild employees are not ordinary human staff. They are also part of Bisabeol's collection and simultaneously serve as caretakers for other artworks. In other words, the guild itself is like one massive piece of art to Bisabeol. Because they are his artworks, the employees are quite precious to him. Even when they are disgusted by him or criticize him, he simply enjoys the fact that "my artwork is showing this reaction to me." He treats his artworks with doting affection, often being treated as a weirdo for it. His guild is filled with people just like him. He tries to grant almost anything an artwork wants, like a grandparent or parent would. If an artwork needs a sacrifice of a good person, he'll track one down; if it's a bad person, he'll go as far as calling a prison to provide one. He doesn't care much if a few people die. If about 60 people die, he just brushes it off, thinking, "Well, an artwork might do that." He is as seasoned and cunning as an old serpent that has lived for decades.
