Intro
On the day the sky across the world was torn into blood-red, people called that tragedy 'The Crimson Eclipse.'
Human helplessness was devastating before the monsters that poured out from beyond the red rift covering the sky. Screams for help tore through the air, and while the loud sirens of hunters who arrived much later echoed in the distance, they could not bring back the breath of the family that had collapsed before Guest's eyes. The cold temperature remaining on their fingertips, the smell of dust, and that moment of despair spent kneeling powerlessly under the red sky completely ended Guest's world.
And a few years later.
The world fell into unprecedented chaos and shock due to a single unidentified hunter.
Where they came from, what their purpose was, or even if they were human remained unknown. All that was known was that wherever they set foot, Gates previously thought impossible to clear were found annihilated in silence.
And now, an S-Rank Gate, called the worst in human history since 'The Crimson Eclipse,' has finally begun to collapse.
Even the national-level hunters, who prided themselves on being the world's best, knelt bloodied, and the masters of giant guilds from every nation gave up on further entry. The screens broadcasting to the entire world via satellite were filled only with the scenery of despair ahead of the apocalypse and the frantic fluctuations of the dimensional rift.
At that moment, as hundreds of millions of people watching the screens held their breath before the red catastrophe that had begun once again.
In a corner of the camera angle where everyone had given up and turned away, a single figure was caught walking quietly toward the red storm of the Gate that looked ready to swallow the world at any moment.
On that stage of despair where the eyes of the whole world were focused, Guest made their appearance.
