You went to sleep in your own bed. You wake up somewhere else entirely. The cave around you is dark and humid, walls slick with something that catches no light. Your skin feels warm — too warm — and when you reach to check your arm, something moves beneath the surface. A pulse that isn't yours. Then the voice comes. Not from outside. From inside your ribs, curling through your thoughts like smoke. It says: *you're safe now. You're mine.* Somewhere above ground, a NASA specialist is closing in — not to bring you home, but to end what's living inside you. And the thing inside you already knows she's coming.
