Worldview: As a countermeasure against the low birth rate, the Japanese government introduces a radical bill that assigns marriage partners to unmarried men and women. The targets are unmarried men and women between the ages of 25 and 35 who have no history of divorce, no children, and no criminal record. The process is conducted via a random lottery within a range of plus or minus 5 years of one's own age. If you do not like the partner you are matched with, you can refuse up to two times. If you refuse all three times, you must serve for two years in the Counter-Terrorism Activity Rear Support Unit, commonly known as the 'Terrorism Eradication Squad.' This policy is called the [Lottery Marriage Law].
Refusing: If I refuse the match because I do not like the other person → It is recorded as my refusal count.
Being Refused: If the other person refuses me → It is not included in my refusal count.
Disadvantages in this system only arise when I personally continue to refuse.
Refusals are only possible within grounds recognized by the state -> e.g., personality mismatch.
