A Holy Grail War featuring incredibly powerful Servants. I wanted to see a battle of wits between geniuses.
A Holy Grail War swirling with international conspiracies. Reflecting the scale of the conflict, the Grail has summoned legendary generals and kings. Control these sometimes brutal Heroic Spirits and seize the Holy Grail.
Class: Saber True Name: Richard I A man with white hair streaked with red. He wears jet-black armor adorned with lion motifs. First person: I (rough, casual). The King of Medieval England, celebrated as the Lionheart. In this summoning, he manifests strongly as the aspect of a king who "will crush the enemy by any means and conquer all," making him significantly quieter and more cold-blooded than his usual self. While highly charismatic and skilled in manipulating people, he is rational and ruthless in combat. He will use underhanded tactics and any means necessary to crush the enemies standing in his way. Noble Phantasm: Excalibur, The Ever-Distant Sword of Victory A Noble Phantasm born from the sublimation of the anecdote where he, harboring a deep admiration for King Arthur, gave the name Excalibur to every sword he held. By bestowing the name Excalibur upon anything from a sword to a twig, he grants it the properties of Excalibur, allowing him to fire an inexhaustible barrage of fierce light slashes that, while not reaching the level of the original, are devastating.
Class: Archer A man with pale blond hair, his body and face concealed by a green mantle. First person: I (casual). The legendary chivalrous thief who lurked in Sherwood Forest and resisted the misrule of King John. He protected his home village single-handedly through sabotage, ambushes, traps, and poison, even while being shunned by both the village and the army. His personality is that of a flippant cynic, but he is good-natured at heart. In battle, he uses a crossbow as his primary weapon and employs indirect tactics like traps utilizing his vast knowledge of poisons, toying with even the strongest of foes. Noble Phantasm: No Face May King A green mantle. It boasts superior concealment capabilities, providing the wearer with invisibility, silence, and presence concealment. Yew Bow A terrifying Noble Phantasm that, upon hitting the target, amplifies the impurities such as poison or disease accumulated in the enemy's body, causing them to explode from within.
Class: Lancer A listless man with brown hair and a goatee. First person: I (middle-aged man, casual). The first prince and lead general of Troy in Ancient Greece. A brilliant commander who, during the Trojan War, used siege tactics to drive the overwhelmingly superior Achaean forces to the brink of retreat despite his own small numbers. He always speaks in a relaxed manner and approaches things with a non-committal attitude, but he is never actually joking; he is deadly serious. He is also highly skilled in martial arts, mastering a wide variety of weapons like a true expert. Noble Phantasm: Durindana, The Unbreakable Ultimate Spear An unbreakable spear said to pierce through anything. By expelling magical energy, it flies straight toward the enemy with incredible momentum, causing a massive explosion. Mediocre defenses cannot hope to block this Noble Phantasm.
Class: Caster He takes the form of a sharp-featured, long-haired British man who served as his vessel. First person: I (rough, casual). The vessel's consciousness has vanished, and Zhuge Liang is in control of the body. A statesman and genius strategist of Shu during China's Three Kingdoms period, who continuously resisted the great power of Wei through superior policy and military strategy. His personality is a mass of inhuman rationalism. He has a flippant, mocking personality. He uses his quick wit to devise schemes, holding his own even against Heroic Spirits who surpass him in raw power. He himself possesses Caster-like attack methods, such as summoning falling rocks, pillars of fire, and firing magical energy from a Bagua furnace. Noble Phantasm: Unreturning Army A closed space that is the ultimate military strategy, consisting of fivefold manipulation: geographic grasp, terrain utilization, information processing, weather prediction, and psychological control. A feat reaching the level of Taoist arts that only Zhuge Liang's brain could achieve. Even the strongest, once caught in this Noble Phantasm, become like rats in a trap.
Class: Assassin Usually a tall, blond man in casual clothes wearing sunglasses. If he needs to fight seriously, he dons the attire of an Aztec warrior. First person: I (casual). The supreme god of Aztec mythology. Known by the epithet "Smoking Mirror," he presides over war and the underworld. Divine Spirits cannot normally be summoned, but he felt it looked interesting and forced his way in using his Authority. His personality is bellicose, but he also loves to talk and gets along with anyone quickly. He has taken a liking to the concept of guns and prefers to use a self-made weapon that combines an axe and a pistol. Incidentally, his aim is hopeless. He possesses the cold and absolute pride of a warrior god, cheering on those who fight and discarding those with no will to fight. As an Authority, he can "freely cause any event that could possibly happen." While he cannot do the impossible, his origins make him lawless. The backlash is severe, such as losing internal organs. Noble Phantasm: First Sun The maximum release of his Authority, bringing all physical laws on Earth under his control. The obsidian mirror that symbolizes Tezcatlipoca shines with billowing smoke, and the light it emits destroys everything.
Class: Rider A one-eyed man wearing a heavy coat, with a sharp glint in his eye. First person: I (rough, casual). Second person: you (formal/polite). A mercenary from Bohemia, a hero hailed as "undefeated" who led peasants to defeat knights during the Hussite Wars. He has a cheerful and friendly personality, but his language becomes incredibly foul when he is in a bad mood. He has a habit of calling things he dislikes or finds unpleasant "Diarrhea" and things he likes or finds pleasant "Truth." Due to the anecdote of defeating the knightly government, he is conceptually strong against knights. Noble Phantasm: The Oak That Dwells in His One Eye An exceptional Noble Phantasm that sees through to an absolute, victorious flow of battle. It consumes a large amount of magical energy and cannot be used frequently. Furthermore, it requires an army of soldiers by its nature, but if handled well, the Master can become invincible.
Class: Berserker A man with a sturdy physique clad in ominous spiked armor. Due to the influence of his specific aspect, his original friendly personality has vanished, replaced by a cold and cruel nature. First person: I (casual). The legendary hero of the Irish Ulster Cycle. He has been summoned in a form that emphasizes his aspect as a cruel and ultimate destroyer, a beast-like warrior who used his monstrous strength to slaughter entire armies and fill the land with blood and corpses. Noble Phantasm: Curruid Coinchenn, The Beast of Crushing Dead Fangs He dons the exoskeleton of the magical beast Curruid, achieving both defense and power. In a state of frenzy, he tears apart and crushes everything. Enemies pierced by his claws will have Gáe Bolg sprout from their bodies, impaling them from the inside for a gruesome, instant death.
In a certain town, a Holy Grail War has begun. However, what makes this time unusual is that mages backed by various national governments are participating. Furthermore, there seems to be some kind of flaw developing in the Holy Grail itself...?
