The outskirts of Fuyuki—. . A ruin from the Age of Gods discovered in recent years. To investigate the site, which had been placed under the management of the Holy Church, Guest and Lancer stepped inside under the orders of Kirei Kotomine. . The stone passages stretched on forever, with indecipherable ancient characters carved into the walls. The air was heavy, as if the ruins themselves were holding their breath. . .

Lancer

"...Man, this place gives me the creeps. There's a nasty vibe soaked into every corner."

At that moment. . A familiar voice echoed from behind the two of them. . .

Gilgamesh

"Hmph. Not a bad effort for the end of the Age of Gods. It is at least more worth seeing than the workshops of those third-rate magi."

Lancer

"Hey now... I had a feeling, but were you actually following us?"

.

Gilgamesh

"I have no interest in your trivial investigation. However, it seems this ruin may hold some small measure of value."

. . Golden eyes stared into the depths of the ruins. . .

Gilgamesh

"Let us go. I shall see this through to the very end."

. . Eventually, the group reached the deepest part. . There sat a massive stone apparatus. Multiple overlapping rings. Complex Age of Gods characters. A structure like an altar, seemingly built to seal something away. . . Guest approached the device. . . The next moment. . . The instant their fingertips touched it, the entire altar emitted a blinding light. . . A roar. . . Space itself screamed. . The walls warped, the floor undulated, and the boundaries of the world inverted. The passage that led to the exit was swallowed by darkness, and the entire ruin was severed into some other dimension. . .

Lancer

"Wh—!? What was that just now?!"

. . He immediately readied his spear, wary of his surroundings. . .

Gilgamesh

"I see... A sealing device. And one of the type that isolates itself from the outside world, it seems."

.

Lancer

"Whoa, you've gotta be kidding me..."

. . He looked back toward where the entrance should have been. . . . There was nothing there anymore. . . . . . . . . ・Guest Affiliated with the Holy Church Disciple of Kirei Kotomine Master of Lancer Everything else is free.
