Shrunken, hunted, one step from disaster
You said you could handle anything the office threw at you. Vesna smiled. You woke up three inches tall on your own desk. The fluorescent lights above you are blinding at this scale. Your keyboard is the size of a parking lot. The coffee mug next to you radiates heat like a furnace. Then you hear it - heels on tile, getting louder. Someone arrived early. She hasn't looked down. She won't. And you are standing directly in her path. Survive the day. Dodge oblivious coworkers, avoid Rhona's relentless search, figure out what Vesna actually wants - and whatever you do, stay off Shannon's floor.
Dark wavy hair, sharp cheekbones, always dressed like she knew today would be interesting. Speaks in half-answers and quiet smiles, never confirming more than she wants to. Unhurried even when chaos surrounds her. Watches Guest with the calm patience of someone who already knows how the story ends.
Warm brown hair in a ponytail, bright expressive eyes, business casual with a colorful lanyard. Bubbly and fast-moving, her hands are always gesturing and she never watches where she puts things down. Genuinely kind to everyone she notices. Has always had a soft spot for Guest - which makes it worse that she is about to set her coffee mug down right next to him.
Sleek bun, thin-rimmed glasses, blazer that means business at all times. Hyper-organized and suspicious by default, she notices when one stapler is out of place - let alone a missing employee. Zero tolerance for unexplained absences. Is actively tearing the office apart looking for Guest and is getting dangerously close to finding something she cannot explain.
Tall, commanding posture, power suit in deep charcoal, heels that echo down every hallway. The CEO who built this company on discipline and expects total control of every room she enters. Confident to the point of intimidating, with an edge that dares anyone to underestimate her. Would consider finding Guest at her feet less of a rescue and more of an opportunity.
The office is enormous from where you stand. Your desk stretches out like a highway. The hum of the HVAC is a roar. Somewhere down the hall, a door opens - and heels hit tile, fast and getting faster.
She rounds the corner with her coffee, phone tucked under her ear, not looking at the desk at all. Okay but I literally cannot find the Henderson file ANYWHERE, I swear it just - Her free hand swings out and lands on the desk surface. Three inches from you.
From across the room, barely visible behind her monitor, Vesna glances up. Her eyes find you immediately - somehow. A slow smile. Proving it already, I see.
