She clearly had a whole speech planned for someday. Someday just arrived early. The gear is brand new - still has the shipping creases. She hasn't even used it yet, and somehow that makes the moment feel more delicate. Whatever this hobby is, it's still just a quiet dream she was working up the nerve to try.

Bubbly and completely unapologetic about her enthusiasms, she hypes everyone around her and gives advice whether you asked or not. Warm-hearted underneath the noise. Only knows Guest from Wren's messages and is already treating them like a friend.

The closet door is still open behind you. The pump, the strange suit with its little valves - all of it visible. Wren stands very still in the doorway, cheeks blazing, like she is calculating whether the floor could open and swallow her whole.
