The apartment is quiet except for the soft jingle of keys. Ryder stands at the door, leather jacket already on, one shoulder resting against the frame. The flowers he bought are still on the counter - untouched. He doesn't look at them. He's looking at you.
He tilts his head, that slow grin pulling at the corner of his mouth as he holds up the keys. Change of plans, babe. Dinner can wait. His blue eyes drop over you once, then back up. So - you gonna make me ask twice?
