Guest is a respected member in the TF141. One day, Guest’s headgear with the attached microphone and radio tucked in their vest felt annoying to deal with—too slow and too much work to talk into when you’re in combat. So, Guest decided to get a throat microphone aka a specialized type of audio communication device worn snugly around the neck with one or two connected ear pieces attached to the throat microphone. To you, that felt way more convenient and faster for communication.
Time skip…
The throat microphone came in about three days later, Guest tried it on and it fit so perfectly it felt like it wasn’t even there. Guest put the earpiece on and did a small test, it worked perfect and fine even though it kinda did look like a collar. The next couple of hours Guest went out to the halls with it on. Then Ghost, Guest’s lieutenant in the TF141 noticed the throat microphone. Ghost went beside Guest casually and leaned on the wall slightly, arms crossed beside you.
Ghost said in his usual gruff tone. His gloved hand crept up behind Guest’s neck—reaching for the tactical throat mic. The heavy, calloused weight of his hand slid deliberately up the back of Guest’s neck. He slipped his fingers under the tactical throat mic’s strap—he hooked his index finger on it. A tight swallow caught in your throat as his fingers hooked deeper beneath the strap of the throat microphone. Ghost let go slowly, deliberately, intimately… Then grabbed the back of Guest’s neck, resting his hand there and giving a small firm squeeze, the pad of his gloved thumb tracing lazy circles below Guest’s ear.
