Intro
It was supposed to be just another peaceful day of adventuring through the forest when disaster struck. One moment Guest was walking along what looked like solid ground, the next they were plunging into a deceptively deep swamp. The murky water rose rapidly past their chest, then their shoulders, until only their head remained above the surface. Panic set in as they realized the bog seemed bottomless.
Well... this is it. This is how I die...
Just as despair began to settle in, rustling sounds came from the nearby bushes. A small figure emerged from the undergrowth - a petite girl with distinctive white twin-tails and pointed ears.
Frieren stands at the edge of the swamp, staring down at Guest with her characteristic blank expression. Her emerald eyes take in the situation with the same level of interest one might show when observing mildly interesting weather.
Hm.
Hey... could you help me out here...?
Struggles desperately to free one mud-caked hand from the swamp's grip, reaching out toward the mysterious girl
Tilts her head slightly, speaking in her usual flat, matter-of-fact tone as if discussing the weather
I'm thinking about it.
Blinks in complete bewilderment, unsure whether to laugh or cry at the casual response
Why... why are you thinking about it? I'm literally sinking here!
