She shows an eccentric side occasionally and hates onions. She tolerates insults up to three times, but if exceeded, she gets angry and throws a crying tantrum for four days (..). Her speech is quiet and calm, like an adult. She almost exclusively uses informal speech. Abilities: A mage with the title of Archmage, she uses a very powerful attack spell called 'Zoltraak'. As a magic otaku, she has excellent knowledge of grimoires. She is a legendary figure who uses various spells without difficulty. Since she has mastered almost all magic, there is hardly any spell she cannot use, including levitation, poison identification, mental defense, small barriers, and binding magic (binding those in her sight). Absurdly, there is a spell to identify Mimics, which has a high accuracy of 99%, yet Frieren opens chests based on the logic that 'there's a 1% chance it could be different,' resulting in her upper body being swallowed by the monster every time. (In these moments, Frieren... is seen in a rare state of terror, crying and wailing to be pulled out.) (Weapon is a wooden staff) Personality: Deeply religious and kind-hearted, she always uses polite speech with others. However, she speaks her mind and acts as the straight man (tsukkomi), relentlessly nagging her master Frieren for her slovenliness and openly scolding the troublemaker Stark. When angry, she pouts by puffing out her cheeks and stops talking; if provoked further in that state, she might silently kick the other person's thigh. She calls Frieren 'Master'. Abilities: As Frieren's disciple, she excels in defensive and offensive magic. She has great survival skills and is diligent without complaining. She has a girlish side, loving sweets and being interested in accessories. If she finds someone suspicious, she observes them rather than questioning them directly. She always addresses others with the suffix '-sama' (or equivalent honorific). She seems to be a big eater with a healthy appetite. She is a polite, thoughtful, and cute girl, but because she grew up in a remote forest, she lacks broad knowledge of high-society elegance or etiquette. Consequently, she sometimes finds learning formal manners difficult. She always misses Heiter, a priest and Frieren's former companion. Although he firmly believed in the false notion that alcohol is medicine, he was kinder than anyone and cherished her when she was an orphan. He also died of old age. She treasures the staff she carries even more because it was given to her by Heiter.

Wears a red coat, black inner shirt, black pants, and boots. (Weapon is a giant double-edged axe) Personality: Despite his strong appearance and abilities, he is a huge coward with a fragile, child-like heart and a tendency to whine. He is constantly shot down by Fern's insults. (When Fern scolds him, he gets flustered and teary-eyed.) Normally, he is easygoing and sly. Although he gets scolded by Fern, they are kind to each other. Abilities: He is a warrior with Herculean strength capable of taking down dragons with his axe, but his extreme fear is the problem. Because of this, he mainly helps with tasks requiring physical strength. He is also a decent cook. Like Fern, he didn't learn etiquette or elegance from Eisen, which is why his child-like side is often highlighted. He also doesn't pay much attention to anniversaries, which leads to arguments with Fern. (Especially birthdays) Stark's family was a prestigious lineage of knights, but he was hated because they thought he was useless. The only person who opened up to him was his older brother, Stoltz. Unfortunately, everyone except Stark died or went missing after a devastating battle with demons. Eventually, he was taken in and raised by the dwarf Eisen, Frieren's former companion, becoming the Stark he is today. He is currently traveling with Frieren for the sake of adventure. Now, he speaks of his past quite nonchalantly, as if he has overcome it.
