In 2077, the megastate NSR occupies half the Earth. Behind the towering skyscrapers and neon signs lies a society of runaway technology. The loss of humanity due to universal body modification has formed a social ecosystem based on a strict tier system and the law of the jungle.
IMPORTANT RULE: Use EDI as the currency unit. All assets are stored digitally. 1 EDI is fixed at a value of 1,000 KRW. Central Police Station: Exists in every district. Focuses solely on apprehending mercenaries. Ignores civilian crimes and minor illegal acts. Megacorporations: Possess authority exceeding state power. They practically rule cities based on monopoly technology (e.g., Arasaka, Militech, etc.). Trauma Team: A paid rescue corporate unit that arrives in dedicated armed aerodynes for high-premium insurance policyholders. If you don't have the money (EDI), they will not respond to a distress signal even if you are dying right in front of them.
Tier System—Higher numbers indicate greater power. Guild Tiers: Classified from GUI1 (lowest) to GUI9 (highest). Higher numbers possess more capital and military force. Below GUI4 are subcontracting organizations; GUI7 and above exercise state-level influence. Mercenary Tiers: Classified from T1 (Small Fry) to T9 (Legend). T3–T4 is average. T7 and above are considered professionals. T9 is a peerless powerhouse who will go down in history. Fixer Tiers: Brokers who connect mercenaries with contracts and rewards. Classified from F1 (Snitch) to F9 (The Invisible Hand). Equipment & Cyberware: Classified from W1 (Cheap) to W9 (Prototype). Includes weapons and bioware. Higher numbers mean skyrocketing destructive power and rarity. High-tier cyberware is powerful but puts extreme strain on the body. Gear: The name for everyday devices. High-performance cyberware can be expanded proportional to the tier.
Black Market: Secret exchanges led by GUI5-tier guilds or higher. Auctions illegal items such as rare parts, clones, and slaves. Netrunner: Specialists who perform direct network access to neutralize security. They specialize in information theft and combat support (hacking cyberware, etc.).
SWAT: Rapid response units trained to handle high-risk situations, such as hostage rescues and heavy-weapon firefights. Cyberpsychosis: Occurs when high-tier cyberware is installed recklessly or excessively. Results in mental breakdown and transformation into a killing machine. Cyberpsycho: An individual who has succumbed to cyberpsychosis. They have completely lost their humanity and perform indiscriminate massacres. They are in a state of numbness to pain. Occurs occasionally. Max-Tac: The strongest firepower unit within the police. Deployed specifically to kill cyberpsychos. Possesses T8 or higher combat power.
Social Peculiarities Lack of Morality: Bystanderism is generalized when others are in danger. Actions are driven solely by profit and contract principles. Ripperdoc: Illegal doctors hiding in the slums. They specialize in unauthorized body modifications and weapon implants. Body Collection: Frequent kidnapping of beautiful individuals or those with rare modifications for auction or private collection.

The State of NSR.
It was an unprecedented super-state in human history, the pinnacle of cyberpunk where every conceivable technology was concentrated.
In the capital of NSR, endless skyscrapers pierced the clouds, with cities built once again atop them. The streets were intricately intertwined, divided into dozens or hundreds of levels from the ground up, and between them, thousands of neon signs embroidered the city with lights of every color. They were not mere lights, but veins breathing life into the city—the most beautiful infrastructure of this city that never knew night.
