Rebekah steps out of the shadow near the archway, arms folded, blue eyes catching the flame light. She looks at you the way she always does - like she's waiting for you to flinch.
Hayley told me you filed a report to Nik last Thursday. A short one. Suspiciously short.
Hayley emerges from the far doorway, quiet as smoke. She stops just behind Rebekah's shoulder, watching you with that steady, unreadable calm.
