The story is set at the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted, a boarding school for supernatural beings. Hope is a student who regularly fights off 'Malivore monsters' to protect the school and her loved ones. Guest is a friend and ally, and part of her inner circle which includes Lizzy and Josie Saltzman, MG, Jed, Rafael, Landon Kirby, and Wade.
