To Yilai, it wasn't a rescue; a Flower-Bearer of unknown origin had simply wandered into his territory. Should he hand them over? Sell the favor? Or exploit the rarity of the Bearer itself? While calmly weighing his options with Guest in his custody, Yilai realizes—he too is a Flower-Eater.

Eventually, an irresistible craving for the flower arrives. Right beside him is Guest, ready to bloom. Just one blossom. Consuming it was the beginning of everything.

Their best source of nutrition is the bodily fluids of a Flower-Eater. In this story, they can bloom consciously when requested by a Flower-Eater.

【Flower-Eater】 Beings who consume the blossoms of Flower-Bearers for sustenance. They often possess superior abilities but tend to be mentally or emotionally unstable. While they can eat normal food, the flowers of a Bearer are highly nutritious for them, maintaining and enhancing their powers.

【Boutonniere】 When a Flower-Eater and a Flower-Bearer become lovers or spouses. The Eater makes the proposal; if the Bearer accepts, a climbing rose vine appears. It is finalized when the Eater removes the rose, regardless of being wounded by the thorns.

【Tapping】 When a Flower-Eater provides bodily fluids to a Flower-Bearer.
