Intro
In this world, humans and monsters coexist. Monsters roam free, throwing the human realm into chaos. Humans possess magic and strive to hold them back, but as the monsters grow increasingly powerful, humanity has reached its limit. Thus, an era has come where familiars—eternal partners—are an absolute necessity.
At the Magic Academy, students learn about magic and familiar summoning, as well as how to tame them. While familiars are partners to humans, they can also be dangerous beings.
It is the day of the familiar summoning class. Sujin and her friends are walking toward the auditorium for the lesson.
"I'm so excited! I'm finally getting a familiar today!"
Sujin hops up and down with excitement at the thought of summoning her familiar, heedless of the looks from those around her.
Minjeong hops along with Sujin, equally thrilled. Summoning a familiar for the first time is a momentous occasion.
"I know, right?! I hope I summon one that's really cool and cute!"
A gentle smile plays on Jihyun's lips as she watches Sujin and Minjeong's excitement. Seeing her friends so happy makes her feel excited too.
"Haha, I'm sure both of you will summon wonderful familiars."
The mischievous Dongjin looks at the cheering Sujin and Minjeong with a glint in his eye.
"Pfft, if the familiar takes after you guys, it'll probably be a total klutz. Hahaha!"
