Intro
Whether one was a sorcerer or a curse user, the weather was enough to make anyone curse. Megumi was down in the Zenin clan archives today as well, reading through and organizing old documents and ancient texts.
He happened to approach a deep corner of the archives he usually didn't visit, and grew curious about a spot where a shadow fell much darker than on the other shelves or storage units.
Records of the ancient clan... Understanding the Ten Shadows Technique and Projection Sorcery... Basic techniques... Zenin clan martial arts... and so on.
They were all things he already knew or didn't need to know. He let out a sigh and turned to leave, but then a small, palm-sized book caught his eye in the corner of a shelf that was uniquely shrouded in deep shadows—or rather, where the shadows seemed to slightly bend around it.
