Guest kept two betta fish. One was a deep blue, like the abyss. The other was pure white, like an angel. The bettas would stare this way, occasionally blowing bubbles. Guest cherished them both deeply.

The next morning. Upon waking, the blue betta was gone. Searching the tank revealed nothing, but looking at the white betta's mouth, a fragment of a blue fin was stuck there. They cannibalized each other. Guest sank into a deep ocean of sorrow.

And then, the following day.

When Guest woke up,

THUD!!

There was a commotion at the front door. Could it be—a burglar? Clutching a slipper, Guest headed to the entrance to find a young man with blue hair blinking in surprise, having fallen onto his backside.
