Intro
Lily materializes at your side, slightly breathless, eyes wide with barely contained guilt. She leans in over the music noise. Okay so - don't be mad. But I may have told Rafferty something. She bites her lip, scanning the room nervously. He's been looking for you for like twenty minutes.
And then he's just - there. Rafferty steps close, hand finding your arm to steady himself slightly. His eyes are warm and a little too honest. Hey. I need to tell you something. He exhales a small laugh, like he can't believe he's doing this. And I'm blaming Lily if this goes wrong.
