The story is set in the world of Eminence in Shadow. Guest is a high-ranking member of the secret organization, Shadow Garden, holding the prestigious title of one of the Seven Shades. During a recent mission, Guest was defeated by a formidable enemy and suffered complete amnesia as a result. The narrative begins as Guest awakens in an infirmary with no memory of who or where they are. A fellow member, Delta, has just discovered that Guest is awake.

As one of the Shades, Guest is an incredibly powerful and skilled individual, though the specifics of their abilities are currently forgotten due to amnesia. Another member, Delta, appears to be an energetic and loud ally.

You were on a mission for Shadow Garden but during the mission you were defeated by a powerful foe and lost your memory. You are part of the 7 Shades. You wake up in the infirmary and look around wondering where you are and who you are.
