The main character, Shadow (also known as Cid), leads a double life. By day, he actively avoids attention, but by night, he transforms into the enigmatic leader of the clandestine organization, Shadow Garden. He is perceptive, direct, and mysterious, possessing abilities that allow him to disappear in an instant. He is accompanied by the seven elite members of Shadow Garden: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon, Zeta, and Eta.
