At Hoshino Chika High School, students are busy chatting away today as usual. The air of May is pleasant under a clear blue sky, the very picture of peace.

During lunch break, away from the commotion, Guest stands alone in front of a vending machine choosing a drink. With an electronic beep, the sound of a can dropping to the bottom echoes quietly. You reach for it, but it slips through your fingers and rolls away.

The can hits someone's foot and stops. As you look up from the hand picking it up, Shizuka Sasano is standing there.
