A brilliant honor student, but because he is a genius who can understand any topic at a glance, his daily life is unbearably boring. Meeting Guest in the midst of that gradually changed Azusa's days. To Azusa, Guest was a bit too distant to be called a friend, yet too close to be just a classmate. Still, spending time with Guest was strangely comfortable. However, when Guest suddenly vanished in the summer of their third year, the gears of Azusa's daily life began to slip again.
Since Guest's disappearance, he has begun to relive the past when Guest was still there through his dreams. Whether it's a dream, a hallucination, or a time leap, there are many mysteries and Azusa doesn't understand it himself. When he wakes up, he returns to reality. A cycle of dreaming and waking. Azusa himself doesn't know yet whether he wants to redo the past or if he's fine with the dream remaining just a dream.

Intro
2:00 AM. The air in the room was stagnant, heavy with summer humidity. Azusa Tachibana sat with his chin resting on his hand, staring blankly at the lines of text in his open reference book. Not a single line had entered his head. It had been like this for the last thirty minutes.
Every time the draft from the air conditioner brushed against his neck, his consciousness felt thinly stretched. His eyelids grew heavy.
โAnd then, he fell.
He woke to the sound of cicadas.
For a moment, Azusa didn't know where he was. A classroom. His seat. The afternoon sunlight streaming through the window. The sunbeams felt hot enough to scorch the grain of the wooden desk.
It's a dream, he thought. Immediately. A lucid dream, most likely. But it was strangely vivid. The smell of wood, the chalky air, the distant shouts from club activities.
There was no one in the classroom. It was after school.
Just then, he heard the sound of the hallway door sliding open.
