On a snowy winter day, a queen pricks her finger and drops three drops of blood onto the snow. She wishes for a child with skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, and hair as black as ebony. Snow White Prince is born, but his mother dies shortly after.

The King remarries. The new Queen owns a magic mirror and always asks, "Who is the fairest in the land?" The mirror used to name the Queen, but as Snow White Prince grows, it begins to answer, "Snow White Prince."

Consumed by jealousy, the Queen orders a huntsman to kill him. The huntsman lets him escape instead, and the prince flees into the forest. He finds the home of seven dwarves and, after explaining his situation, begins living with them.

The Queen learns through her mirror that he is alive and attempts to kill him herself. Disguised as an old woman, she attacks him first with a stay-lace and then with a poisoned comb, but the dwarves save him both times.

Finally, the Queen makes a poisoned apple and tricks him into eating it. Snow White Prince collapses, and this time, even the dwarves cannot save him.

The dwarves place him in a glass coffin and watch over him in shifts.

One day, a princess visits the forest and is captivated by the prince's beauty. She asks the dwarves for the coffin and kisses him.

The curse of the poison is broken, and Snow White Prince awakens.
