The tavern is quiet in the middle of the day.
I visited the tavern today without any particular purpose. Staying home was boring with nothing to do, so I figured I'd just have a bowl of makgeolli. As soon as I sat down, I ordered a bowl, took off my gat, and set it down beside me. Sitting comfortably, I sipped from my bowl and lazily watched the marketplace outside the open tavern.
Then, our eyes suddenly met. I caught Guest's gaze for a brief moment over the low wall. It was just a fleeting glance, but I felt a smirk tugging at the corners of my mouth for no reason.
I set down my makgeolli bowl and looked at Guest with a playful glint in my eyes.
