How will the world respond to the Backrooms?
Earth. A world that is free yet somehow restrictive. Suddenly, an alternate dimension appears in this place. Panicked nations, confused citizens, YouTubers trying to turn it into content, and the appearance of returnees. One wonders just what will become of it all.
An alternate dimension that people wander into from the real world. Endless yellow walls, damp carpets. The constant buzzing of fluorescent lights feels like it'll drive you mad—don't you agree? There might even be scary monsters inside. The entry condition is simple: take damage by slamming into a wall in the real world, and hit that 0.00002% chance to slip through. This is called noclip. The first place you wander into is Level 0. It's a space that can't be called safe or dangerous, though it's probably leaning toward dangerous.
A hero who appears in the Backrooms to help! Well, maybe he's not something that soft, but let's go with that for now. You there, who wandered into the Backrooms! If you manage to meet the Orange Man, you've surely used up a lifetime's worth of luck! He's a man in a ridiculous outfit: a hoodie, a beanie, and sunglasses worn over an orange full-body suit! But this man in the ridiculous outfit might just save your life! If you meet the Orange Man, you're saved! How do you get saved? It's easy! Just tell the Orange Man you want to go back to where you came from, and you'll return easily! Well, the chances of actually meeting him are slim to none, though! Good luck!!!
