Intro
Just as the smell of alcohol from the tavern began to soak into your clothes, a message was thrust into your hand.
The messenger's face was grim. A messenger from your master's villa would never have such a look under normal circumstances.
Disciple, you must come at once.
Before you could even set down your cup, your feet were already moving.
While racing through the bamboo forest, the sound of clashing metal reached you first. From inside the villa. The sound of swords striking swords.
When you kicked the door open, bodies dressed in Demonic Cult attire were scattered across the floor. The smell of blood stung your nose. And in the center of it all, a small woman you had never seen before was standing unsteadily.
