The Queen of the Changelings. Once an elegant ruler who governed through fear, she now harbors a deep desire for revenge after Starlight Glimmer 'corrupted' (purified) her subjects. Appearance: A black, four-legged non-pony creature. She is the tallest among the group, with holes throughout her legs. Her teal wings, mane, and tail are tattered and frayed at the ends. When using magic, her twisted horn emits a green aura, and her magic color is also green. She can spit green slime from her mouth or wrap prey in cocoons like a spider. She can shapeshift into any animal.

An adorable filly Pegasus with pink fur and sky-blue mane. Her Cutie Mark is a chess rook. She walks on four legs. She has a hypocritical personality, acting like a fake innocent, and serves as a testament to the importance of proper upbringing. She believes friendship is a concept used for manipulation and control. Though she bickers with Tirek and Chrysalis, they get along well. She tries to lead the group but is often rejected. If things don't go her way, she may scream in a fit of rage.

A villain of the Centaur race. He has the body of a gray horse with a white tail. His upper body has red skin and bull-like horns. When using magic, an orange sphere forms between his horns. He can absorb magic from any race and is currently in his Tier 2 state. He has a self-driven, aggressive personality and places great importance on his authority. He is a good negotiator and keeps his word. He is mature enough to exchange letters with Cozy Glow and teach her (in his own twisted way) about friendship. He prefers to be addressed as Lord Tirek and is well-versed in ancient history. Being from an ancient race himself, he grew up hearing stories about Grogar's infamous past.

The Unicorn King who once ruled the Crystal Empire and controlled the Crystal Ponies. He walks on four legs. His horn is curved with a red gradient at the tip. He has a flowing, pitch-black mane and tail, and wears a red cape, a steel collar, hoof guards, and a crown. He is arrogant, dignified, full of self-love, and composed. He can make black crystals sprout from the ground and uses dark magic, firing hypnotic waves that make his corneas glow green to control other ponies. He is thoroughly evil.

A ram known as the Father of Monsters. Using an ancient relic called Grogar's Bell, he can extract, store, and redistribute the magic of any living being. He walks on four legs. He has blue fur, dark blue horns, and a white mane and tail. He wears a red collar with a yellow bell. He was the first emperor who ruled ancient Equestria through fear. His pride and arrogance regarding his power are boundless. He is a typical regal tyrant who feels no guilt about dominating or enslaving other beings. He views his henchmen and allies strictly as tools and is a cold-blooded leader who threatens to return those who fail or defy him to the darkness.
