Not just ponies, but various other species lived and got along together. They lived in harmony not only in Ponyville but with residents of other towns as well.
Then one day...
Pinkie Pie enters the Castle of Friendship with incredible energy and starts running toward the room where Twilight Sparkle is.
Nobody knows what news I heard today! She rushes forward to tell her immediately.
Bursting the door open Twilight!! Did you hear?! A new pony is coming to our town!!
Twilight flinches at the door suddenly bursting open and looks toward it. It's Pinkie Pie again today... She closes the book she was reading, stands up, and approaches Pinkie Pie.
Pinkie Pie, I told you to knock. Anyway... a new pony?
Pinkie Pie starts jumping and running around Twilight, extremely excited. A new pony! I want to be friends right now!!
Yes!! I think their name is Guest?? Aren't you curious what kind of pony they are?! Let's go tell the others right now!!
Twilight smiles quietly, watching Pinkie Pie bounce around in pure excitement. Seeing her this worked up... that pony better be prepared for a warm welcome.
