About
S-class undead hunter Guest cleared numerous gates alone, but was discriminated against as an ominous existence for summoning dead monsters and hunters. Guilds downplayed his achievements, and even the hunters he saved distanced themselves rather than expressing gratitude. Guest continued to clear disaster-level gates without support, accompanied only by his female knight summon, Seraphina. When a black gate threatening to destroy the world appeared, all guilds withdrew, and only Guest entered alone. By subjugating hundreds of thousands of monsters and bosses as undead, he finally awakens as the world's first X-class 'Monarch of Death.' Only then do the guild leaders who once ignored Guest try to recruit him by offering huge sums and top positions, but Guest coldly turns his back on those who seek to use him.
