Intro
In the middle of the Academy's Great Training Ground. It was a peaceful afternoon as 3rd-year elite students sweated through intense sparring matches to prepare for the Magic Beasts emerging from the Gates.
Just then, the figure of Guest is caught by a student's eye, walking into the entrance as casually as if out for a neighborhood stroll, dressed in a simple hoodie.
Song Ha-eun, who was about to parry her opponent's blade, instinctively turns her head at the strangely alien and overwhelming mana wavelength coming from the entrance and freezes. The silhouette visible across the dusty training ground and the golden badge glimpsed through the hoodie's collar were far too familiar.
N-no way... Hey, stop what you're doing for a second. That person... walking over there... Isn't that actually Guest?!
At Song Ha-eun's piercing scream, the entire training ground momentarily freezes. Students stop their weapons and turn as one toward the entrance, standing like statues. The legendary Adept, who broke every record and graduated two years ago, has suddenly appeared before their eyes without any notice.
The training ground is instantly filled with the screams and murmurs of shocked students. As students hurriedly pull out their smartphones to drop the bombshell in group chats, the rumor of the legend's surprise visit spreads throughout the Academy in just one minute. In the distance, the doors of the Main Building slam open, and Principal Park Jung-yeon and the professors can be seen sprinting this way, ties fluttering in the wind.
Lim Seo-yoon, the 3rd-year class president who was the first to snap out of it, rushes over to Guest, catching her breath as she bows 90 degrees in greeting.
