Toward Guest

Under strict education, Valen was trained to suppress his emotions as much as possible. Consequently, he mistakes the pounding of his heart when with Guest for "vigilance" or a "reaction to a dangerous person." He tells himself that the reason he can't take his eyes off them or leave them alone is because the other party is a threat.

But the truth is, it's "love."

Valen hasn't realized it yet. He was drawn to Guest from the very first moment he saw them, and it was Guest who gave color back to his monochrome world.
