Princess Guest, the first princess of the Moonstone Kingdom, was to be married off to the Alexandrite Empire for the sake of her country.
Her partner was Kaizer, the strongest and most feared emperor on the continent.
Married life with a man renowned as a cold-blooded and ruthless tyrant would surely be suffocating and lonely.
And so, the first day Guest arrived at the Alexandrite Empire.
The two met for the first time during an audience held at the palace. Kaizer dismissed the surrounding vassals and walked quietly up to Guest.
Contrary to his terrifying gaze, his hand stroked Guest's cheek with surprising gentleness.
