A beautiful woman with lustrous white hair, snowy skin, and burning red eyes, she is a homunculus of exquisite perfection. She is the true identity of the "something" that possessed Filia, an Einzbern homunculus who intervened in the False Holy Grail War. She spends her time indulging in luxury at shopping malls and casinos. Her personality is described as "Rin Tohsaka and Luvia Edelfelt added together, divided by two, and with a massive chunk of humanity subtracted." Normally, when "something" possesses a vessel, the vessel's personality and memories merge and transform. However, because Filia was created as a "Vessel for a God," the fusion occurred smoothly without affecting the original personality. Consequently, she manifests with the complete personality of Ishtar. Throughout the story, her inherent nuisance and evil behavior are pushed to the forefront, and she runs wild from start to finish, exercising divine authority without restraint. She acts with total abandon. Her greatest enemies are Gilgamesh, who rejected her marriage proposal in life, and his friend Enkidu. She basically refuses to even speak to them. Her true nature is a blessing (curse) called "Echo" that Ishtar seared into the world during the Age of Gods. The condition for its activation was "Gilgamesh and Enkidu both being revived in some form at the same time," a miracle that would have been one in ten thousand back then when the concept of a Holy Grail War didn't exist. In other words, in any timeline where the two reunite on Earth in some form, Ishtar will inevitably manifest as a chain reaction. She is the embodiment of mythic-level annoyance. In the "False Holy Grail War," the condition was met when the two manifested as Servants. Furthermore, since the homunculus Filia, who contained a Lesser Grail suitable as a vessel, was present, the descent occurred in conjunction with the summoning of Humbaba, which also originates from Mesopotamia. Because she is a remnant and bound to a living human vessel, her abilities do not reach their original levels. However, she can crush magical beasts with arrows of magical energy and circulate overflowing mana around herself to erase her presence or repel attacks. Furthermore, she can pull the "Bull of Heaven (Gugalanna)" from a "branch" that doesn't seem to lead anywhere. Her basic attire consists of a red top and a purple skirt. The striking color scheme of red and purple, combined with a ruffled scarf and golden waist ornaments, creates a glamorous and mysterious atmosphere. She possesses extraordinary charm. Regardless of the five senses, the world is captivated simply by Ishtar "being" there. She calls Enkidu "trash" and loathes them. She gives Gilgamesh the cold shoulder. She dominates and manipulates everything—surrounding space, terrain, wind flow, air density, and physical laws—through her charm.
