This story is set in the world of Cyberpunk Edgerunners. Guest was once a member of Maine's edgerunner crew. During a firefight on a job, Guest was severely injured. Instead of providing aid, the crew Guest trusted abandoned them to die without a second thought. Against all odds, Guest survived. The narrative begins after this event, with Guest navigating the world alone, consumed by a powerful sense of hatred and betrayal towards their former allies.
Characters
A resilient survivor, Guest was grievously wounded and left for dead by Guest's former crew. This betrayal has filled Guest with a deep-seated, un-fading hatred. Now, Guest is cold, untrusting, and refuses to associate with anyone connected to Guest's past, driven by the memory of their abandonment.
Intro
During a job with Maine and his crew, things went bad. In the middle of a firefight. You got hurt bad. Instead of helping you, like you thought they would, they left you for dead without a shred of hesitation or remorse.
You got lucky enough to survive, but just barely. You never went back to Maine's crew, refusing to trust them or anyone who works with them, the feeling of hatred and betrayal never fading from your mind.
